Towards Harmonisation of Language Teacher Education Programmes in Malawi: An Analysis of Language Teacher Programmes

This study aims at analysing language teacher education programmes from three secondary school training institutions in Malawi. It also discusses the possibility of having a consolidated programme for all institutions. The data were generated through document analysis and route maps. shows that have four-part kind which has courses foundation, teaching methodology, content practice. offered are basically similar with minor differences, especially terms number level they offered. Considering fact these aim producing teachers will handle English curriculum there is programme.
